     Who represents you at the state and federal level of government? If you don’t know, and you have access to the Internet, you can easily find out by following these steps:

On Campus: From any computer at Harbor College, you can get to the Los Angeles Harbor College Home Page          

        by first clicking:      START, then

                                        PROGRAMS, then

                                        INTERNET APPLICATIONS, then

                                        NETSCAPE COMMUNICATOR or

Off Campus: From any computer with Internet access off-campus, type into the address box the following:

·                     On “Guerrero’s Links”, under the heading Congress & CA Legislature, click on: Vote Smart

·                     Click on: State Legislators

·                     Click on the name of your state: California

·                     Under the heading Don’t Know Your Districts?, enter your 9-digit zip code and click on: GO

·      Under the heading Congress, you will find the names of the two U.S. Senators that represent your state in the U.S. Senate, the number of the Congressional District (CD) in which you live, and the name of the congressperson who represents your Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives.

·      Under the heading California Legislature, you will find the number of the State Senate District (SD) in which you live and the name of the state senator that represents your State Senate District in the California State Legislature.

·     Under the same heading, California Legislature, you will find the number of the Assembly District (AD) in which you live and the name of the State Assemblyperson that represents you in the California State Assembly.

·     By clicking on the names of your state and federal representatives, you will find biographical data about them and, in most cases, pictures of them.
